Best Advice: Because You Deserve It!

Experience our 100% success rate in obtaining Medicaid coverage for over a thousand clients

Meet Catherine

Life is about helping others, and Catherine exemplifies that in her life’s work. Her experience with the Medicaid program began in 1996 when she worked at the Florida Department of Children and Families. As a caseworker, she processed Medicaid applications. This helped her understand what is needed in a Medicaid application for it to be effective.

Catherine works to help you with all aspects of Medicaid planning and applications. When the odds seem insurmountable, when the challenge seems too great, and when you feel lost in unknown territory, she can help.

While working with the State of Florida, she also worked as a supervisor of the Nursing Home Medicaid Processing Unit, as a trainer, and as a Medicaid program specialist for the Suncoast Region. After those 10 years of service in the government sector, Catherine founded Best Advice.

She knew that by bringing her extensive understanding of the Medicaid program to her clients that more people could be helped than just those already in nursing homes. Learn more about Catherine and her mom who gave her the inspiration to help others …

My Mom, My Inspiration

My mother had her first stroke at age 55; her second stroke followed a year later.  She was left incapacitated and we were left devastated. We hated the thought of placing her in a long-term care facility, but we had no choice. We were so worried about how we were going to pay for her care and still preserve the assets she worked so hard to save.

Luckily, I had experience in Medicaid Planning from my years of working with the State of Florida; however, most of us don’t have that experience. My mother always inspired me to help others so I want to bring this experience to you and make it possible for your family to preserve their hard-earned savings when being faced with a medical crisis.
Before her work with the state, Catherine was in the banking and credit union industry. She holds a degree as a paralegal and her master’s degree in business administration (MBA). In addition, Catherine helps others learn more about Medicaid policy by serving as a guest trainer at St. Petersburg College. She is a Certified Medicaid Planner and is one of the only six CMPs in all of Florida. Catherine also holds a Florida 215 license in Life, Health and Annuity Insurance.
